Alejandro grew up watching his father make Super-8 mm films, which inspired him to become a filmmaker. He began his career in Spain designing storyboards for directors such as Spanish Academy Award winners Achero Mañas and Daniel Monzón. The foundation in film cemented his passion to create films that are a mix of genre with art-house elements, commercial vision with a fresh and indie style, universal stories in local contexts but always through a social lens.

Alejandro has globe-trotted around the world living in Madrid, London, Hong Kong and New York. He is now living between Los Angeles and Madrid.
